How To Make A Radio Show Workshops

We are joining forces with local community stations across London, to give insights to young people about the world of Radio, from learning how to get yourself noticed, to key tips on creating your own radio show. These workshops are delivered by experienced guest speakers, along with special performances from some of London’s emerging talent.

Khalil Madovi

Artist, producer-songwriter, actor and filmmaker Khalil Madovi takes inspiration from the likes of Kanye West, Childish Gambino and Labrinth, and follows his icons as a trailblazer with stellar achievements. The BAFTA winner has worked with legendary director, Steven Spielberg, Amazon Studios and BBC, before going on to craft euphoric sonics for his star studded clientele, including Sam Wise, Etta Bond, IAMDDB and Tom Tripp. The visionary has now taken centre stage with his own blend of alt rap, R&B and afro-fusion sound, with an exclusive performance for us at Torquils.

Self taught alternative rapper/producer from Maida Vale, London joins us for an exclusive performance. Asriel is a sharp-tongued, witty lyricist with a peculiar appetite for slightly unconventional rap beats and arrangements. His freestyle entries and production have earned him recognition from the likes of ENNY, Kojey Radical, Backroad Gee, & more. His inspirations from American & UK hiphop, anime, and his West-African upbringing, Asriel infuses his own individuality alongside uncommon genres to create music.
