Carer Tickets

We offer complimentary tickets for personal assistants and support workers, and do not request any documentation. Our dedicated spaces for wheelchair users on Level 2 come with a free seat for a carer as standard. These can be booked online by using the ‘seated’ map view to select a wheelchair user space.

If you require a standing or seated ticket with a carer, you can let us know during the booking process by ticking the box next to ‘I or a member of my party has access requirements’ while adding tickets to your basket and providing details. We would recommend booking the total number of tickets you require, and then we can refund the cost of the carer ticket after booking.

Alternatively, we can create a booking for you that includes a carer ticket and then send you a payment link. You can request this via access@roundhouse.org.uk from when the show goes on sale, however, please note that this option is dependent on availability.

Please note that third-party external ticketing agencies, such as Ticketmaster and See Tickets, are not able to provide carer tickets for shows at the Roundhouse. Therefore, if you require a carer ticket, please book directly through our website.

Main Space Wheelchair Access

For a standard gig there are specific spaces for wheelchair users in our seated area on level 2, but wheelchair users can also use our general admission area on level 1. We also have a number of ambulant accessible seats on Level 2, however the availability of seats that have minimal steps is limited.

For level 1 seated performances there are additional wheelchair user spaces depending on the configuration (see seat map for details).

In standing-only shows, wheelchair users are able to gain early access by prior arrangement, and we will endeavour to find a suitable position in the space for audience members who require this. Please let us know in advance by emailing access@roundhouse.org.uk if you would like to arrange this.

Studio Theatre Wheelchair Access

In our Studio Theatre, we have a number of wheelchair spaces that are reserved until the performance sells out, at which point they will be released for general sale.

For promenade performances, wheelchair users are free to move through the areas and are asked to make themselves known to the duty manager, before the doors open. The duty manager will arrange priority entry and be able to advise from where it is best to watch the event.
