You can book the studios if you have an active Creative Studios Membership. To be eligible you must be between the ages of 13-25.
You can buy this membership on our website. To activate it, you can bring a valid ID to our studios front desk and a youth worker can activate your membership. Then you can start booking the studios online or in person.
Don’t worry if you have an Emerging Artist membership, this will continue on under the new name of Creative Studio Membership.
You can book online or at the studios front desk. Pay online or on arrival – we can take card or cash payments. You will be able to book up to 2 weeks ahead.
We are not able to run a waiting list at this time. Spaces may become available again if other members cancel.
You are allowed to bring guests into your session if they are aged between 13-25. For new guests, they will need to bring in valid ID (passport/drivers license) to verify their age. Guests can come in for 3 free sessions and following this, they will need to pay the room booking price.
Come to the studios front desk where you will be greeted by a member of our youth work team who will ask for your name and hand you your door pass to get into the studios. Please be aware that if it is your first time at the studios, you will need to bring photo ID (drivers licence/passport) to verify your age.
During your booking you’ll be able to ask for help from the tech team, either by knocking on the tech store door, or by messaging them on WhatsApp. The number can be read from a notice in the room you have booked. We have a common room within the studios where you can gather, relax and chill out during your session.
Additional equipment (microphones, instruments, cameras, lights etc) can be borrowed from our tech store at no extra cost, to use in your room during your booking.
If you want to ensure you can use specific equipment during your booking, (or want to ask any questions about what equipment is available), you can request it in advance by emailing rhs.tech@roundhouse.org.uk, at least one day before your booking.
If you would like to bring your own equipment with you, we require that any mains-powered items have passed a Portable Appliance Test. If necessary, our tech team can carry out PAT tests on your equipment when you arrive.
We have a number of studio spaces available to book including DJ rooms, production rooms and small/large rehearsal spaces. Check HERE to book a room and for more information including prices and capacities for each of the rooms.
Email studios.bookings@roundhouse.org.uk for help
Please get in touch with our Advice Base on AdviceBase@roundhouse.org.uk if you have any questions regarding financial support and to request a conversation with our youth work team about our credit scheme. For any other kind of free access, please contact studios.bookings@roundhouse.org.uk
To get a full refund, members must cancel with at least 2 days (48 hours) notice (so that it’s possible for the space to be rebooked by someone else). If you cancel within 48 hours of your booking, we will be unable to issue you a refund.
