Learn how to make stop-motion animation in our eight-week course! You’ll work with other young people and professional tutors to come up with an idea for a film and then bring it to life. The film will be shown as part of a series of short films produced by young people in the Roundhouse Studios. You can watch previous films produced here.

What do I get by taking part?

  • Learn stop motion animation techniques, special effects and green screen filming
  • Record sound effects and voice over
  • Develop storytelling skills. Learn how to tell stories, create characters and design scenes
  • Work as part of a film crew

Who is teaching the project?

Rainbow Collective who have won numerous awards for the animation training they provide to young people. 

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?

This course is for 11-14-year-olds who have an interest in filmmaking and storytelling, and there is no need to have had any prior experience in film or animation in order to join.
