Formed in 1991 in Germantown, MD, Clutch has become one of the most respected and influential rock bands of their generation. The band—comprised of Neil Fallon (vocals), Tim Sult (guitar), Dan Maines (bass), and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums)—has built a legacy through relentless touring and genre-defying music. From their early days with the legendary Passive Restraints EP to their breakthrough with Transnational Speedway League…, Clutch has consistently evolved, with albums like Pure Rock Fury, Blast Tyrant, and Robot Hive/Exodus showcasing their range from heavy blues to psychedelic rock. Their 2005 anthem Electric Worry became an instant classic, and their dedication to their craft has earned them a loyal global fanbase.
In 2009, Clutch launched their own label, Weathermaker Music, releasing Strange Cousins From the West to critical acclaim, followed by Earth Rocker in 2013, which topped the Billboard Hard Rock charts. Their 2015 album Psychic Warfare and 2018’s Book of Bad Decisions continued their streak of success, with both albums reaching No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts. Clutch’s high-energy live shows have become legendary, earning them a reputation as one of the best rock acts of the modern era. In 2025, the band will celebrate their 1995 self-titled album with a special tour, performing the album in its entirety with custom production and lighting, offering fans a unique and unforgettable live experience.
