The Resident Artist program empowers outstanding emerging talent across music, theatre, and spoken word, providing year-long support through workshops, masterclasses, and mentorship. Marla Kether

London-born bassist, producer, and DJ Marla Kether, with Congolese roots, has exceeded 35 million Spotify streams as a session bassist for artists like Yazmin Lacey, Oscar Jerome, and Obongjayar. Marla’s debut EP All That We Have (November 2023) blends live Latin percussion, Theo Parrish-style grooves, and West African-inspired basslines. Championed by DJ Mag, Crack Magazine, Gilles Peterson, and others, her EP was named some of the “Best Electronic Music” by Bandcamp Daily. Marla’s live shows have sold out, following a global tour with Loyle Carner, and her 2024 calendar includes Jazz Stroud, Shambala, and Valley Festival.

POSER

POSER, an innovative electronic music producer from Wicklow, Ireland, now based in London, has been making waves since 2017. His debut track, “Je T’aime,” released in June 2022, earned BBC Radio 1 airplay and set the stage for his successful collaboration “Yours” with Blimp, which gained over 300,000 streams. His debut solo EP For Those Before blends hip-hop influences with energetic house beats, drawing inspiration from artists like Action Bronson, Jay Z, and Loyle Carner. With support from BBC Radio 1, RTE 2FM, and major Spotify playlists, POSER is currently working on his follow-up EP as a Roundhouse Resident Artist.

Geo Aghinea

Geo Aghinea (b. 2001, Romania) is a London-based producer, composer, and vocalist whose music reflects their experience as a deaf musician. Combining bold synthetic sounds with ethereal vocals, Geo’s work explores complex emotions shaped by their perception of sound through hearing aids. Their acclaimed EP, I’ll Hand You A Hand, challenges single-mood structures, creating layered auditory experiences. Geo has performed at venues like Servant Jazz Quarters and The Crypt Gallery, with broadcasts on Radio Romania Cultural and Soho Radio. Recently, they won a 2023 Oram Award and were featured in Mastercard’s Future Sound of Britain campaign.

KD
KD is a rising underground artist from London, known for his unique fusion of hip-hop and grime that authentically reflects his experiences, struggles, and triumphs. Inspired by UK icons like Skepta and American legends like Nas, KD’s style is marked by intricate wordplay, cultural references, and powerful storytelling. His breakout track “Ultra Instinct” highlights his lyrical skill and versatility, incorporating gaming and anime references to convey his journey and resilience. With a commitment to self-improvement and authenticity, KD pushes the boundaries of hip-hop and grime, establishing himself as a compelling voice in contemporary urban music.
