Steel Pulse celebrates an extraordinary milestone—50 years of creating socially conscious, uplifting reggae music! Formed in 1975 by David “Dread” Hinds and Selwyn Brown in Birmingham, England, Steel Pulse has become one of the most influential and respected reggae bands in the world. As descendants of the Windrush Generation, their music reflects a deep commitment to social justice and empowerment. From their debut album, Handsworth Revolution, to Grammy-winning works like Babylon the Bandit, Steel Pulse has left an indelible mark on global music. Songs like Rally Round the Flag and Steppin’ Out continue to resonate with fans across generations, blending roots reggae with punk, rock, and R&B to create a sound that transcends cultural and musical boundaries.

Iconic ska pioneers The Selecter, led by the legendary Pauline Black OBE, will be joining Steel Pulse as a special support act. Known for their era-defining hits like Three Minute Hero and On My Radio, The Selecter continue to prove that 2-Tone is as vibrant as ever with their new album Human Algebra.

Having found a stage in punk venues during their rise in the ’70s, we’re thrilled to welcome Steel Pulse back for this momentous performance.
